Our Mission Statement
The Fleetwood Neighborhood Association (FNA) is a community-based organization created to promote and benefit the residents and businesses of Fleetwood and the City of Mount Vernon. Our mission is to engage and empower the residents and businesses of Fleetwood, Mount Vernon, thereby helping to create a vibrant, safe and economically robust community.
A Voice for Fleetwood
We have an open and ongoing dialogue with our Mayor, Mount Vernon Commissioners, and City Council Members discussing a wide range of topics that affect our neighborhood and the city of Mount Vernon. Topics include pedestrian safety, traffic control, parking meters and permits, maintenance issues for the Fleetwood Parking Garage, and the maintenance and development of green spaces, including the Broad Street Playground.
We help promote Fleetwood businesses with a listing of their business on our "Shop Locally" page where we provide a description and link to their websites. We strongly encourage residents of Fleetwood to shop locally and keep Fleetwood thriving.
