FNA Community Meeting | October 24, 2019 Featuring Save Scout Field presentation and 42 West Broad Street public art installation finalists. The Fleetwood Synagogue generously allowed the use of its meeting room for an informative and well-attended meeting featuring two important subjects. First was an opportunity to view and offer opinions of the three finalists for the public art installation that will be placed in front of the new development at 42 West Broad Street. Thanks to the developer of the property, we saw three carefully-curated and impressive models. When the project is complete, one of these projects will beautifully enhance the aesthetics of West Broad Street and that gateway to our city. A presentation from the Save Scout Field organizers followed with a valuable presentation on the history and status update of the the effort to reverse a decision made by a previous county administration that, if allowed to go through, will see the loss of public access to parkland that serves as important open space for residents of all communities surrounding the county-owned facility. Learn more about Save Scout Field and how you can help. |
